R/C Aircraft Flight Training is held every Thursday evening during DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME. Instructors will be at the field from 4:00 PM till sunset UNLESS; 1. There are whitecaps out on Lake Hefner (too windy to learn) We strongly encourage the rest of the club to fly on any day but Thursday so that the sky is free for students. You must be a member of the AMA, TORKS have both of these cards when you fly, and have your own trainer to participate in this program. Volunteer Instructors from the clubs own membership will do their best to help you learn to fly an R/C Model by using Buddy Boxes, Training Cords and our own training outline. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE TO CLUB MEMBERS. If you can't make it to Thursday night training, then several of the instructors are retirees, and you can make arrangements for training during the day or on another evening. Available only on evenings: Tom Solinski - 840-9577 Fred Wettengel - 848-3950 Ken Kehlet - 721-2782
